Located near Nongpoh, Ri Kynnitiewtrep or Ri Khynniewtreb National Park is home to numerous birds and wildlife that lies amidst thick forests across an area of around 125 square kilometres.
It was established as a national park back in the year 2003 by the State Government of Meghalaya. It is home to several other famous tourist attractions such as waterfalls, caves and many other awe-inspiring natural features.
The best time to visit Ri Khynniewtrep National Park is between November and February.
