Meghalaya State Commission For Women, in collaboration with The Directorate of Social Welfare, and Women & Child Development will host "The Women's Conference 2022" at 10:30 AM, tomorrow in Shillong.
Union Minister Smt. Smriti Irani will grace the event through a virtual platform whereas CM Conrad Sangma, and Mr Kyrmen Shylla will also be participating in this conference tomorrow.
The event is intended to raise awareness about the importance of assisting women in improving their chances of success by providing them with unique opportunities, mentorship, support, and networking.
Under the 'Celebrate,' and 'Support themes, this conference intends to inspire and empower women by celebrating their invaluable achievements and contributions as well as provide them with distinct and lucrative possibilities for development.
A report by MIPR reveals that the conference will include women from the state and international communities, such as entrepreneurs, SHG leaders, academicians, journalists, writers, university students and others who have made exceptional contributions to the progress of society at large.
